The Hardline Tavern
This has probably been around for a while, but I'm rather slow and only just found it. What does everyone think of the whole Neo being (semi)alive storyline from The Matrix Online?
I think it's totally nuts. But I'm also kind of enjoying it. Especially if Trinity ends up being alive as well. Cause then, you know, denial fanfic would be canon, which would be really, really amusing.
It's like a trainwreck. You think it's so screwed up. But you can't look away! 8D
This is new to me. Considering that I'm kinda slow at finding stuff like this also.
Love your post/picture alina kalime! :D Nothing beats the Matrix Reloaded spoof. ^^
Thank you! It seemed appropriate. ^^;; I snagged it from here
The Matrix Online is, obviously, another way of making money. I reckon they thought, "well, what would the fans want (i.e. how can we make them buy into this)?" "I know, we'll bring back Neo!"
...please let them come up with something semi-plausible to explain it. And bring back Trinity, too. ^ ^;
Disclaimer: I say it's fucked up, but I think I'm sold, provided I can manage to upgrade my computer without destroying it. ^^;; I'm assuming Trinity will be back.
The ad told me I could shape the history of the Matrix, and that was when I was sold. The fangirl in me cried, "lyk omg I can totally be a L337 w@rri0r Goddess1!!one!"
But the fact remains that I have no means of subscription over the interweb (it's a sorry state of affairs).
That sucks. :( Hopefully the game site will continue to post at least snippets of plot information as they go so that non-subscribing fans can still squee.
I doubt they're actually going to bring him back. The way I see it is, the Machines want the code and remains so they can effectively create the One again if need be. They don't want Smith; the bio for Gray says that they scoured his code to make sure there wasn't any of him in it.
Trinity died outside of the Matrix, so even if they're going with the crazy Resurrected Neo route, there's no way to reconstruct her. Also, nobody's fighting over her remains.
