Hey there. I have absolutely no clue how I found my way here, but I roleplay Cypher at milliways_bar. This is, obviously, his account. ;} I'm the only person I know who is a.) a Cypher fan, and b.) someone who's actually RPing him in a serious context. I could be wrong.

But he liked the idea of beer bongs, so here I am! I really don't know what I'm doing here, other than saying "yo."

So, anyway, yeah. Howdy!

Nice to meet you. We had our own RP troupe around here some time ago, but the comm has mostly dissolved into silence and random "Hey, remember this Matrixy thing?" But who knows, maybe someone'll find their RP account password and poke you. :)

Heh - when I first started playing him, I was looking all over the ether for actual Matrix RPGs. If they existed at all, they all took place post-Revolutions, and that wasn't going to do me very good, was it? :}

So y'all are basically a group of friends? Did I crash the party? :} Was your RP responsible for that amazingly funny Sparks journal?

Pshaw, there's no such thing as a party crasher here. ;) And no, I wasn't the Sparks RPer. Although I enjoyed reading his and Niobe's antics very much.

Well, I didn't mean "you" so much as "you people." Prolly should've clarified. ;}

Yeah, that whole thing was great. I totally would've added some Cypher into the mix - I'm not sure people realize exactly how snarky he is. :}

So how do you folk all know each other?

We all used to hang at this FF writers board and at some point this place was created. Then fandom died. But, late at comments sometimes are, we're all still around, mostly.

Glad to hear your still with us - the death of the Hardline and matrix fandom in general was the saddest thing. And that's coming from someone who didn't even see the Matrix until summer 2004.

Well, I think in the end it had to happen, fandoms die when the new canon is over and done with AND has been shit. There are still some fans active, I think.

I suppose, but still... I feel like Kid: not unplugged soon enough to get to know the fleet, and now the war's over and all that's left is other peoples memories.
Don't mind me, I'm just having that kind of day

S'ok, I know those days :) I'm playing in other fandoms now, so there's no "void", and I kept in touch with my friends from the Matrix fandom, so it's not the same for me.
